Biography

Željana Vidović is a Croatian contemporary artist and the founder of ZeeCeramics, a studio dedicated to handcrafted ceramic works that merge artistic expression with functional design. Her practice bridges fine art and contemporary craft, reflecting a deep engagement with materiality, form, and the emotional resonance of objects.

Her ceramics often evoke natural elements—stone, sand, erosion, and geological layering—suggesting a quiet, contemplative presence. The works invite touch as much as observation, reinforcing the sensory dimension of her practice.

Zeljana creates objects that exist at the intersection of sculpture and utility. Each piece is individually shaped, often marked by: Organic silhouettes and soft asymmetries, textural surfaces and subtle glazing variations, earth-inspired color palettes and a balance between minimalism and expressive detail
