We have chosen to invest in unconventional spaces to offer art new realms of expression and connection. ORAĖ envisions its exhibitions within wine estates, natural landscapes, exclusive hotels and hospitality venues, as well as in urban spaces in transition, where the dialogue between the artwork and its environment takes on new meaning. By stepping outside institutional frameworks, we aim to push the boundaries of creation, spark curiosity, and allow art to appear where it is least expected — renewing both the viewer’s gaze and experience.

    Born from a deep passion for art and a sincere desire to foster genuine encounters, ORAĖ is much more than a gallery. It is a living space — a bridge between artists and collectors — where each artwork becomes the starting point of a dialogue, an emotion, an experience.

     

     

    ORAĖ, which means shore in Latin, embodies the meeting place of contrasts and harmonies. Like a shore where land meets sea, the name symbolizes the encounter of the two gallerists, their complementary visions, and their shared passion for art. It also evokes the union of nature and creation, a space where elements come together to enhance artworks and awaken emotion. ORAĖ thus becomes a point of passage, a bridge between the tangible and the imaginary, where each exhibition reflects this poetry of connection and exchange.

     

    Founded by two young gallerists, Victoire Monrose and Juliette Caussil, ORAĖ aims to bring a fresh perspective by offering a new way of appreciating art, inviting intuitive contemplation. Through exhibitions as well as events and performances held in exceptional venues, far from rigid conventions, every detail is carefully designed to enhance the artworks and deepen their meaning and resonance.

     

    Both founders bring rich and complementary backgrounds to the project. Victoire is trained in contemporary art and has gained experience working with major galleries in London and Geneva, while Juliette has served as a gallery director in Paris for over ten years, specializing in 20th-century design, following formative experiences in New York and Paris.
